Our Local Area

Llanwrtyd Wells is the smallest Town in U.K and it is the gateway for the Wild and beautiful Cambrian Mountains, yet close enough to the Brecon Beacons. An ideal place to explore Mid Wales with easy access to the Coasts, Lakes/Mountains and Towns.  The Cambrian Mountains is not a National Park but an area of outstanding natural wild beauty for all to explore and enjoy,  With Activities such as Walking, Mountain Biking and Horse Riding  You can even bring your own Horse or Dog on Holiday too.  Why not try Wild Swimming in the nearby Wash pool (formally a river for washing the Sheep).  Or simply take quality time, relaxing with the family and admiring the wonderful views and sounds.

Llanwrtyd is ideal for visitors to the Royal Welsh Showground near Builth Wells  You will not find High Street Stores in Mid Wales so why not take the opportunity to explore the old Market Towns such as Llandovery, Tregaron, Builth Wells, Rhayader and Brecon.
